Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group (EUREP) in the "EUREP GAP Protocol 2000" (www.eurep.org)

International HACCP Alliance (www.haccpalliance.org) was developed on 25 March 1994 to provide a uniform programme to assure safer meat and poultry products. It is housed within the Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University and is a source of comprehensive information on HACCP.

World Trade Organization (WTO) (www.wto.org)is the organization/body/vehicle which administers disputes under the Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures.

International Trade and Technical Assistance

The Uruguay Round Agreements (of the WTO) represent a milestone in the multilateral trading system: for the first time, agriculture has been incorporated under operationally effective rules and disciplines. The Uruguay Round commitments in agriculture, forestry and fisheries cover improved market access and disciplines on domestic support and export subsidies.
